Official Notice: Preparation to Rebrand
Africa Nalia is currently in the strategic process of a major rebranding. As we expand our scope across East Africa, our visual identity and name are transforming to better reflect the diverse spectrum of the survivors we serve. Watch this space for our new dawn.
EST. MARCH 2023
Africa Nalia is a queer survivor-led organization focused on counter-human trafficking, specifically within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual, Queer, and Gender Non-Conforming (LGBTIAQGNC) community.
Our goal is to ensure that LGBTIAQGNC victims and survivors have access to services that align with their lived experiences. We actively work in Uganda and Kenya, with a vision to extend across East Africa.
This Safeguarding Policy creates a framework where abuse, harm, and exploitation are actively prevented, thoroughly addressed, and managed with a survivor-centered approach.
This policy applies to all persons affiliated with Africa Nalia. We hold everyone to the same high standard of care.
